Adeline: Newborn

Meet Adeline, a little girl who has a special place in my heart. You see, her mom and I first met four and a half years ago at our first day of new teacher orientation. We spent half the day riding on a hot, sweaty school bus~the beginning of a friendship entailing lunches in the classroom, hours of conversations and venting about anything and everything, even planning our weddings for the same exact day. They now live in a different town, but I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on Adeline and was thrilled they asked me to capture their new family.

Cory + Izzy: Newborn

So back in January, I got the itch to shoot newborn twins because it had been awhile since the last set...and I set out on my search. A friend recently told me about these two beautiful baby girls, Cory and Izzy, born just a few weeks ago. I was sooo excited! Newborn sessions are fun anyway, but two of them? Could not wait. Here they are~

I got these funky headbands from the same woman who made the fringe blanket the girls are laying on in the photo above. They totally rocked them out!

Can I just say this is going in my all-time favorites folder? I mean, look at the expression on this new dad's face...pure joy as he's holding his two precious girls.

Thank you Emerick's for giving me the chance to love on little Cory and Izzy!

Toothaker: Family

Spring has finally sprung! I headed out with the Toothaker family this past weekend to help celebrate Levi turning six months and his big sis, Rileyann, turning five. It was still a bit chilly out, but NO SNOW!! And Levi was so excited, he showed us how he could sit up all by himself. What a cute little guy...

Rileyann sure knows how to turn on the charm when she's alone with the camera. She was loving it!

Reed: Newborn {Lynchburg Baby Photographer}

I met this tiny little girl yesterday, and she is an absolute beauty. She did not, however, want to miss any of the action and was wide awake for the entire session! Reed was so sweet and cuddly and we got some great shots.

Ava: Two {Lynchburg Child Photographer}

I met up with Ava and her mom on a COLD morning last week, but this little girl was a trooper! A little bribery never hurts either...I loaded up her with hot chocolate and a lollipop and we were good to go.

Beautiful eyes~they are so blue...

I thought this was so funny...I've never seen a kid chug a drink like Ava did with this hot chocolate. She loved it!
