Adeline: Newborn

Meet Adeline, a little girl who has a special place in my heart. You see, her mom and I first met four and a half years ago at our first day of new teacher orientation. We spent half the day riding on a hot, sweaty school bus~the beginning of a friendship entailing lunches in the classroom, hours of conversations and venting about anything and everything, even planning our weddings for the same exact day. They now live in a different town, but I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on Adeline and was thrilled they asked me to capture their new family.

Safe in Daddy's arms...
She's so cute, and so alert for being a month old!
Perfect...
Thank you, Heather and Josh, for letting me into your home once again. Love you guys!

Toothaker: Family

Spring has finally sprung! I headed out with the Toothaker family this past weekend to help celebrate Levi turning six months and his big sis, Rileyann, turning five. It was still a bit chilly out, but NO SNOW!! And Levi was so excited, he showed us how he could sit up all by himself. What a cute little guy...
Rileyann sure knows how to turn on the charm when she's alone with the camera. She was loving it!
Love the red shoes *making mental note to find some for myself*
Daddy/son time...
I'll leave you with one last shot of the whole fam...

Reed: Newborn {Lynchburg Baby Photographer}

I met this tiny little girl yesterday, and she is an absolute beauty. She did not, however, want to miss any of the action and was wide awake for the entire session! Reed was so sweet and cuddly and we got some great shots.

Love, love, LOVE!
She liked being wrapped up but had to have those little hands free!
Reed is a peanut next to her daddy!

Avery: Newborn {Lynchburg Baby Photographer}

I recently did a mini-session of teeny, tiny Avery, who belongs to a friend of mine. He is such a little man! Definitely a snuggly one...I had forgotten just how small new babies are. Avery was super alert, watching my every move (and those of his mommy and big sis, Lili). Take a peek~

I could not resist this one of Lili!
I'll leave you with one more...

There has been a bunch of new babies welcomed lately~check back soon!

Johnson: Family {Lynchburg Family Photographer}

Let me just start off by saying that I don't think there is ever a dull moment in the Johnson home! With four kids and four very different personalities, we had a very lively shoot on the family's property yesterday afternoon. Throw in beautiful backdrops and amazing light (not to mention the only non-rainy day all week!) and I think we got some great shots...

I'm seeing a pattern here...the lake. I promise I took other shots, but these were my favorites! On another note, they got in the boat! Gotta love a family who will do pretty much anything for a good photograph.
Merry Christmas, Johnsons!

MOPS: Mini-Sessions {Lynchburg Family Photographer}

Saturday I had the opportunity to spend the day shooting mini-sessions of ladies from my MOPS group and their families. It was a long day and I was exhausted at the end, but I laughed so hard at so many of the kids and truly enjoyed my time with them. We had a beautiful backdrop and an unseasonably nice day...I only hope we get that lucky for the next mini-session day in two weeks!

I picked out one of my favorites at first glance from each session, just as a surprise sneak peek for everyone.

Misjuns: Family {Lynchburg Family Photographer}

Look at this cutie pie! I met ten-month old Morgan and her mom and dad at a local park on Sunday...and did we ever get lucky with gorgeous weather. I had a great time getting to know this family, comparing baby notes, and being there for Morgan's first Cheerios snack! Here's their sneak peek~

Street: Family {Lynchburg Family Photographer}

This has got to be one of the cutest families ever. I met Nelson and his mom and dad up on the Parkway this past weekend, and we managed to stay dry on the dreary Halloween morning. Nelson was all over the place, enjoying the fallen leaves and the new surroundings.

Really, how do his parents ever tell him no? Look at those eyes!

Collins: Family {Lynchburg Family Photographer}

Take a look at this good-looking group of ladies! When Melissa told me she wanted some fun portraits with her three daughters, Jessica, Lindsey, and Hannah, I knew that downtown was the place to go. We got some funky shots...here's a peek~
I love this one...I think it shows off their individuality.
