Today I had a session with the Pawlas family. I teach with Laura and Russ so I had a good idea of how the session would go. The kids were a bundle of energy on this beautiful fall day, but it made the time so much fun! There was lots of giggling, a few wipe-outs, and even some time to fish in Grandpa and Grandma Pawlas' lake!

Check it out!
When you're out in the community, keep on the lookout for the latest issue of the Family Guide, put out by Central Virginia Guides. I've put an ad in there...page 40...plus, the publishers used some of my photographs as fillers throughout the magazine. I'm really excited about this!

Studio time
It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted, but on Saturday my friends Tom and Jenn Butler invited me into the recording stuio to capture this exciting time for them. They are getting ready to produce their very first worship CD. Check out their website at KindleMinistries.com.
I love this one of Tom, finally stepping up to the microphone. The colors are awesome!

Sisters
This weekend I went to Richmond to visit my younger sister Holly and do some bridal portraits of her. She came to the conclusion this week that she doesn't know if her dress is "the dress" but we did some anyway and also shot some photos of her in my wedding dress.
Holly's soon-to-be inlaws own a house on the "rivah", as it is affectionately called, about an hour east of Richmond. It was a gorgeous day, so we took advantage of the newly repaired pier, beach area, and the neighborhood gazebo. It was so much fun!

All of these images are of Holly in my dress, just in case they end up in the wrong hands (her fiancee). I don't want to ruin anything!
Looking at this photograph, it is like looking in a mirror. Strange...
Thanks to my red-headed sis for a great time and to Roy and Linda for opening up their home (and the delicious poundcake).
