Drummond: Contest Finalist {Lynchburg Kids Photographer}

What a handsome little guy! Drummond certainly earned his spot in the top four, but when we met for our session last week, he did not want to give up the goods! I had a tough time getting a smile out of him at first, but he warmed up and did a great job showing off his crawling and new walking skills.

Such a serious face...love his hat though!

I'll leave you with this shot~I think it's a great representation of this time in Drummond's life...the hesitation of little baby steps.

Trinity: Contest Finalist {Waynesboro Kids Photographer}

This cutie patootie was one of our contest finalists. She lives in the Harrisonburg area, so I met up with Trinity and her mom in my hometown, Waynesboro. We spent a little time at the local park, one that holds many memories for me. Trinity loves animals and spent a lot of time looking at the geese, baby ducks, squirrels, and the random dog or two being walked by their owners. Here's a few of her shots~

Simmons: Family Time {Lynchburg Family Photographer}

I recently had a session with little Owen, one of our contest winners, but last night had the chance to once again work with the whole family. Little miss Maggie was ready for the camera in her adorable jean skirt and new haircut, and Owen was officially a big boy~it was his first birthday! We met at the campus of Randolph College and raced to beat the bugs, heat, and rain. Thankfully I stayed dry this time!

This girl loves being in the spotlight!

The kids were rolling with laughter here...I love Owen's mouth-wide-open laugh!

Jana: Senior {Lynchburg Senior Photographer}

'So I've decided that this amazing senior is the complete opposite of me~she sings, dances, is involved with the EC Glass theater, and can totally rock a mini-dress! Jana is super cute and bubbly, and her personality really shined through despite the torrential downpour we endured during her session. We had thunder, lightning...a little bit of everything. But she and her mom were troopers and thankfully we all had umbrellas. We even got some great shots in the rain and caught an amazing rainbow afterward! Have I ever mentioned how much I love shooting senior girls??
I'll start you off with my favorite of the batch...

Didn't I tell you it was pouring? I was thrilled when Jana asked if she could get some shots in the rain!

You can just barely see a hint of a rainbow behind Jana...

Seniors~now is the time to book your session!

Andrew: One {Lynchburg Kids Photographer}

Many of you have seen this photo, one of my absolute favorites. Well, can you believe this little guy is one already?!?

Andrew's mom and dad were calling him Mr. Serious, but I managed to crack a few smiles!

Pieter + Emily: Married

The clouds rolled in, the thunder began, and the rain came down. But in the end, Pieter and Emily had a beautiful day full of love with their family and friends. People came from near and far to Emily's family farm for the August nuptials~Pieter is from the Netherlands and many traveled to be a part of their big day.

I love the moody lighting in this one...
A special request from the bride...

Emily: Bridal

I am so glad to finally be able to post these gorgeous bridal pics! Take a look at Emily...
