Owen: Contest Finalist

Doing this session today with Owen made me wish I could freeze time. I first met this little guy five months ago when he was barely sitting up, and now he is crawling and curious about everything! I was reminded to cherish every moment with my Delaney (who will be six weeks old tomorrow) and want to encourage all of you to not take for granted the time you have with the people in your life. Here's a look at Owen's backyard adventures!

Aaron + Maggie: Married

I have to begin this post by saying what a special family Aaron has married into. There are way too many connections I have with them to list here, but let's just say you've seen several of the Webb faces already if you've spent any time reading the blog! I made sure to "come out" of maternity leave just a little early so I could be sure to capture the big event.

The day was full of great shots...Aaron and Maggie were married at Holy Cross Catholic Church in downtown Lynchburg. We then headed to Old City Cemetery with the couple before their reception at Amazement Square. Here's a peek into their big day!

Maggie, all four of her sisters, and her best friend put the finishing touches on the dress. I was finally able to see all of the girls together for the first time...what a special memory for this family!

Abbi: Contest Finalist

Little miss Abbi was one of the finalists in the cover model contest and the first to come for her mini-session. She is a cutie pie~huge blue eyes and adorable pig tails to boot! Here's Abbi's sneak peek...

Drew + Jackie: Married

Drew and Jackie were married at a beautiful country club up in Warrenton, on an even prettier day. Unfortunately I had to miss the big event since I was due to have my baby any day, but I sent two fabulous photographers to capture everything for me. I only wish I could have been there, but they did a wonderful job! Take a look~

Delaney: Mine!!!

For those of you wondering where I've been...here you go!

I had my beautiful little girl, Delaney Jane, last Friday, June 5th. She tipped the scales at 9lbs. 15oz. and 23 inches long and is a little miniature clone of my husband! I absolutely love being a mommy to such a sweet baby and Bert and I are enjoying getting settled into this new life.

I look forward to showing Delaney off even more as she grows-she will certainly be a much-photographed child!

Streeter: Family Time

This is one beautiful family! I spent some time with little Chamberlin and her mom and dad on the campus of Liberty University yesterday, watching the one year old explore her new surroundings. She is such a cutie and seemed to relish the fact that she was much faster than I was!

Let me tell you, this was a very close race. Within a few votes close. I had about 500 votes to sort through and really didn't know who the winner would be until every last one was counted. Steve + Sharidy: Engaged

It took a couple of rained out sessions, a missed flight (or two) and this almost full-term pregnant woman hiking some big hills, but it was completely worth it! Our early-morning session provided amazing light, and once we got past Steve cheesing for me, I was able to get some great shots.

These two had a hard time keeping a straight face. It didn't help that I've known Steve for almost five years and knew he could handle me giving him a hard time.

Caleb: Newborn

This little guy is so sweet. Just about two months old, his mom and dad brought him in for his first session, and he was wide-eyed and alert trying to figure out what I was all about. He is definitely a cutie and I can't wait to see him again!

Caleb's dad is a football coach, so I thought it was only appropriate that they have a toy football handy...

This is the hysterical face I got throughout most of the session~Caleb looking at me like I was crazy...he definitely liked to know what was going on around him though!
