Streeter: Family Time

This is one beautiful family! I spent some time with little Chamberlin and her mom and dad on the campus of Liberty University yesterday, watching the one year old explore her new surroundings. She is such a cutie and seemed to relish the fact that she was much faster than I was!

I love her smile...
Just checking on me...making sure I could keep up!

#8-Miss April!!
It must have been that adorable smile and the curls...

Let me tell you, this was a very close race. Within a few votes close. I had about 500 votes to sort through and really didn't know who the winner would be until every last one was counted. Thanks to everyone who voted! April will be featured in our advertising throughout the coming year, so keep an eye out for this cutie!

Here are the three first place winners, who will each receive a portrait session~

#7, Capri
#6, Drummond
#3, Owen
Parents~I will be contacting you soon to go over details and to hopefully set up our sessions!

Steve + Sharidy: Engaged

It took a couple of rained out sessions, a missed flight (or two) and this almost full-term pregnant woman hiking some big hills, but it was completely worth it! Our early-morning session provided amazing light, and once we got past Steve cheesing for me, I was able to get some great shots.
My favorite!
We took advantage of some of the construction going on downtown~A closer look at the bling~

These two had a hard time keeping a straight face. It didn't help that I've known Steve for almost five years and knew he could handle me giving him a hard time.
Thanks Steve and Sharidy-I had a blast!

Caleb: Newborn

This little guy is so sweet. Just about two months old, his mom and dad brought him in for his first session, and he was wide-eyed and alert trying to figure out what I was all about. He is definitely a cutie and I can't wait to see him again!
Snuggling with Daddy...
I love little piggies!
Caleb's dad is a football coach, so I thought it was only appropriate that they have a toy football handy...
This is the hysterical face I got throughout most of the session~Caleb looking at me like I was crazy...he definitely liked to know what was going on around him though!

Being that I love to photograph pregnant women, it was only natural that I have maternity portraits done as well, especially for my first baby. I turned to Ryan and Kelly Portnoy of Kellan Studios, not only because of their absolutely gorgeous work but because they are friends of mine who I knew my husband would love. I am so thankful for the memories that we have to now pass on to Delaney, and we even got to get some shots inside and on the roof of my studio! Click the link above to see their blog.

Aiden: Two

I love this little guy! I took Aiden's one-year portraits as well, and it turned out he was getting sick that day. This time, he was just plain sleepy. Not even his favorite m&m's could make him happy, but thankfully we got some great shots before he decided he wanted no part of my camera. Take a look~

Now I promise I did nothing here except take the picture. Aiden was walking along and promptly stopped, turned around, folded his arms, and smiled right at me. What a ham!
I had to get a shot of his chucks. They were new, by the way, so what does he do? Finds the nearest dirt pile and starts kicking away at it!
Thanks, Traci~looking forward to showing you the rest.

Look at this sleeping beauty. Meet little Sophia, just two weeks old~she has a headful of beautifuly hair, a hearty appetite, and loves to be wrapped up nice and cozy!

We got a smile out of her!
